Make sure financial legal requirements are met. Developing financial reporting systems. Find ways to reduce or maintain costs by studying financial reports and business processes. Analyse market trends to discover business opportunities and maximize profits. Aid management in financial decisions. Maintain up to date financial system knowledge Collecting, interpreting, and reviewing financial information Predicting future financial trends Reporting to management and stakeholders, and providing advice how the company and future business decisions might be impacted Producing financial reports related to budgets, account payables, account receivables, expenses etc. Developing long-term business plans based on these reports Reviewing, monitoring, and managing budgets Developing strategies that work to minimise financial risk Providing back office services such as accounts payable, collection and payroll. Monitoring cash flow. Understand GL Liaising with accountant teams. Providing insights on the financial health of the organisation. Ensuring the business meets all its statutory and compliance obligations, including statutory accounting and tax issues. Developing relationships with external contacts such as auditors, solicitors, suppliers and contractor personnel. Supervising & supporting finance dept staff. Requirements: Financial Qualification with 6-8 years experience Sage Experience advantageous Portuguese speaking advantageous Experience with Off Shore companies advantageous Able to work cross functionally and be hands on.
