About the Role

Xpresso Café is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Assistant to support our purchasing and supply chain operations across the business. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with sourcing and purchasing of stock, equipment, and supplies
  • Process purchase orders and follow up with suppliers
  • Compare pricing, quality, and delivery timelines
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
  • Assist with supplier communication and relationship management
  • Support stock control and ensure timely replenishment

Requirements

  • Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, or administration (advantage)
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Good communication and negotiation abilities
  • Basic understanding of stock control and cost management
  • Proficient in MS Excel and general computer skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Matric
  • Valid drivers license
