About the Role
Edgray Distributors (Pty) Ltd t/a JUMBO is seeking an experienced Outbound Supervisor to join our team in East London. As a key member of our logistics and distribution department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our warehouse, ensuring efficient processing and dispatching of goods, and providing exceptional support to our customers. With a strong focus on customer service, teamwork, and attention to detail, we are looking for a motivated and organized individual to fill this critical role.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating purchase orders (WORKFLOW)
- HRPM (Time and Attendance system) scheduling
- Data Capturing
- Daily Reporting
- HRPM attach authorized leave forms
- Order Processing, Despatching and Record-keeping of Staff Uniforms
- Procurement, Despatching and Record-keeping of Chemicals (store level)
- Procurement, Despatching and Record-keeping of Stationery (store & head office)
- Allocation of pool vehicles to employees
- Allocation of trucks to drivers
- Ensuring vehicle inspection sheets are completed for all vehicle allocations
- Management of manifests and waybills for trucks for all store deliveries
- Processing and authorisation of truck drivers travel claims and box incentives
- Reconciliation of JUMBO fleet monthly fuel transactions
- Responsible for record-keeping and booking of services and repairs for JUMBO fleet
- Facilitation and booking of all services and repairs for JUMBO fleet
- Fuel Usage tracker for JUMBO fleet
- Procurement and Despatching of equipment and appliances for new store openings
- Procurement and Despatching of store fittings and fixtures
- Ticket Tracking and Resolution on Spiceworks (WHS Boxes system)
- Netstar reporting and monitoring (vehicle tracking JUMBO fleet)
- Administration and payment of traffic fines for JUMBO fleet
- Negotiation / Liasing with 3rd party suppliers RTT Couriers
- RTT Courier system navigation
- Warehouse stock management systems and reporting Dolfin and Neptune
- Physical Stock Management process
- RF Scanning process bulk pick plastics for stores
- Capturing IBTs (Inter Branch Transfers / Stock Movement) between / from stores
- Monitoring of CCTV cameras (within warehouse)
- Work closely with all other departments to provide best service to them
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a Similar role
- Code 08- unendorsed drivers license (+own transport)
- Advanced Excel
