About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Manager to join our team in East London. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of our plant, ensuring efficient production and high-quality products. With a strong background in automotive components testing and development, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Establishes goals, objectives, and guidelines covering all phases of plant operations and staff activities to maintain an efficient, functional, operational, and profitable plant.
- Directs, guides, and motivates immediate subordinates in attainment of projected goals and objectives to increase operational efficiency.
- Establishes and enforces procedures and controls within the plant to attain projected goals and objectives.
- Supports and promotes Company Philosophies and policies to establish support and organisation within the plant.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the testing and/or development of automotive components for volume production
- High level of understanding of technical/engineering concepts and design processes
- Ability to troubleshoot and correct problematic data acquisition systems, component faults, and test systems (facilities and in-vehicle)
- Ability to use data-capturing and processing software
- Project management skills
- Good interpersonal skills (team and negotiating skills)
Qualifications
- Minimum of Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Mechanical / Mechatronic Engineering
