Job Description

Qualification Matric / Senior Certificate Valid Forklift/Stacker License and driving experience Requirements Minimum 10 years warehousing experience Valid South African Drivers License and driving experience Strong PC skills (incl. Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook) with working experience of using a Stock Management system Good communication and interpersonal skills Organizational skills with the ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously Must take pride in appearance of warehouse, vehicles and machinery and has good attention to detail Duties Picking / Checking & issuing raw materials to the Factory based on works order requirements; Preparing customer orders for dispatch; Completion of daily vehicle & equipment checklists and ensuring preventative maintenance activities are performed (including ensuring that the vehicles are clean at all times); Loading/unloading products/supplies from vehicles; Checking of goods delivered by Suppliers; Checking of goods returned by Customers; Putting stock away and performing bin transfers following company procedures; Ensure that Quality Management standards are adhered to at all times; Monitor the temperature/humidity of the facility on a daily basis; Perform daily stock counts; Manage the raw materials cage; Manage the goods returned cage; To safely drive the company vehicles to transport company products, supplies and personnel safely to various destinations; Identifying and implementing improvements to the warehouse processes The Factory Storeman is responsible for managing raw material stock and finished manufactured stock. The primary responsibility of the Factory Storeman is to manage all movements of stock in and out of the Raw Material Storage area including issuing raw materials to the factory, receiving finished goods from the factory, performing daily stock counts, investigating variances & non-conformances and ensuring the system records accurately match the physical stock at all times.
