About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Lodge/Villa Manager to join our prestigious luxury private game reserve in the Eastern Cape. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for delivering world-class service and maintaining high operational standards in a remote, high-end environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee food, beverage, housekeeping, and garden services to ensure a premium guest experience at the exclusive-use villa
- Provide exceptional guest engagement with a warm, personalised, and professional approach tailored to high-end clientele
- Lead and inspire a team to deliver outstanding service to guests of all ages
- Manage administration, budgeting, ordering, and stock control related to villa operations
- Collaborate with the broader management team and assist at other lodges when the villa is unoccupied
- Maintain high standards in line with the reserve’s Best Operating Practices
- Uphold the core values of the organisation in all daily operations
Requirements
- Positive, energetic, and dynamic attitude with willingness to assist across departments
- Strong commitment to guest satisfaction and attention to detail throughout the guest experience
- Proven ability to foster successful teamwork and build strong internal relationships
- Extensive experience in overseeing multiple lodge departments
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including HR experience and team leadership
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (strong Excel skills), with experience in ResRequest and SAGE
- Solid background in housekeeping management
- Ability to work long hours and manage time effectively
Qualifications
- Hospitality Diploma or equivalent qualification required
Salary & Benefits
Salary: R18,000 – R20,000 (negotiable depending on experience)
