About the Role
The Building Company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Salesperson to join our team in East London, Eastern Cape. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for maximising sales turnover in the store, providing support and supervision to the sales team, and ensuring that customer requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain Stock Levels daily
- Run Reports on a regular basis
- Follow up on quotations and ensure timely resolution
- Attend to Customer Requirements and ensure satisfaction
- Achieve monthly Targets through effective sales strategies
- Conduct Weekly and Monthly meetings with the sales team to discuss progress and goals
- Ensure that Non-stock items are quoted correctly and within credit limits
- Complete Credit applications accurately and efficiently
- Train Sales Consultants on product knowledge and sales techniques
- Resolve Credit Queries in a timely and professional manner
- File legal documents and ensure compliance with company policies
- Perform Ad hoc administrative duties as required
Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate (valid)
- Valid Driver’s License (required)
- 6 months of experience in the construction industry or related field
- Knowledge of Kerridge system (must be demonstrated through a portfolio or interview)
Qualifications
- Completed Grade 12 education
- Valid Driver’s License
