About the Role
The Coal Process Manager position is a critical role in our mining operation, requiring a strong technical background and leadership experience. We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our coal processing team and drive process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the coal processing plant
- Implement and maintain process control systems (SCADA/PLC) for optimal performance
- Lead and manage a team of operators and technicians
- Conduct regular analytical and problem-solving activities to optimize production and costs
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mineral Processing, Metallurgical, Chemical, or Mining Engineering
- 15 years experience in coal processing or mineral plant operations
- Strong knowledge of coal beneficiation processes (DMS, flotation, screening, etc.)
- Experience with process control systems (SCADA/PLC)
- Strong leadership and team management experience
- Knowledge of HSE regulations and compliance standards
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications in Mineral Processing, Metallurgical, Chemical, or Mining Engineering
