About the Role
The Secunda Site Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a power plant, ensuring compliance with site safety standards and quality procedures. This role requires strong technical knowledge of Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and experience in project coordination and contractor supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate project activities and ensure timely completion
- Supervise contractors and monitor site safety standards
- Interpret schematic and loop drawings to implement system changes
- Maintain strong planning, reporting, and organisational skills
- Ensure quality compliance procedures are followed
Requirements
- B Tech in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 2 years experience within a power plant or industrial C&I environment
- Strong knowledge of Distributed Control Systems (DCS)
- Understanding of standalone controllers, recorders, and industrial bus protocols
- Project coordination and contractor supervision experience
