About the Role
A leading Industrial / B2B Capital Sales company in Durban is seeking a dedicated Finance Administrator / Creditors Clerk to join their team. This role involves the comprehensive management of creditors, including processing invoices and supplier statements, performing account reconciliations, and resolving payment queries.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the creditors’ function by processing invoices and statements, performing account reconciliations, and allocating payments.
- Proactively resolve account discrepancies and manage administrative tasks like credit applications.
- Manage both scheduled routine payments and urgent ad-hoc disbursements while monitoring daily electronic fund transfers.
- Accurately record invoices within the SAGE system and maintain professional communication with both suppliers and customers.
Requirements
- Possess a solid foundation in accounting principles and the preparation of financial reports.
- Have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience within the finance or accounting sector.
- Show proficiency and prior experience working with ERP systems, specifically SAGE Evolution.
- Use Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, at a professional level.
Qualifications
- Possess a solid foundation in accounting principles and the preparation of financial reports.
