About the Role
We are seeking an experienced AI Governance Specialist to join our team in the Netherlands. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of responsible AI practices. With relocation support available, this is an excellent opportunity for a pragmatic and solutions-driven professional to balance regulatory requirements with innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI governance frameworks, policies, and controls
- Ensure AI systems comply with legal, ethical, and regulatory standards
- Conduct AI risk assessments and model governance reviews
- Advise stakeholders on responsible AI deployment
- Support internal and external audits
- Monitor regulatory developments and translate them into actionable policies
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Law, Data Science, Ethics, or related field
- 5+ years’ experience in AI governance, compliance, risk, privacy, or technology governance
- Strong working knowledge of the EU AI Act
- Experience drafting and implementing AI governance policies
- Experience in AI risk and compliance assessments
- Knowledge of GDPR and data privacy regulations
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
Qualifications
- CIPP/E certification
- Experience with ISO 42001
- Background in cybersecurity or enterprise risk
- Experience in regulated or international environments
