About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Receptionist to join our luxury hotel team in Franschhoek. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will be responsible for ensuring an exceptional experience from arrival to departure. You will work closely with our in-house departments and industry partners to deliver exceptional service, while also providing local tourist information and arranging special requests.
Key Responsibilities
- Check-in and check-out procedures
- Assisting guests with itinerary planning and bookings
- Providing guests with local tourist information
- Arranging special guest requests within the hotel or for tours & visits
- Coordinating with in-house departments
- Working closely with industry partners
- Maintaining a high level of professionalism, personal hygiene, and presentation
Requirements
- Qualification in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or Business
- At least 2 years Front Office Operations Experience within a luxury 5* hotel
- Residency within Franschhoek, Paarl, Stellenbosch, or neighbouring winelands
- Strong proficiency in Hotel Property Management Software Programmes
