About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll Officer to join our 5-star boutique hotel in Franschhoek. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the payroll function single-handedly, ensuring seamless operations and maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Run and manage the payroll function single-handedly
- Utilize advanced MS Office and payroll system knowledge (Sage 300) to process payroll efficiently
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel records
- Provide excellent communication and interpersonal skills to stakeholders
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Payroll or a related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in payroll administration
- HR experience is advantageous
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office and payroll system (Sage 300)
Qualifications
- Formal education in Payroll, Accounting, or Human Resources
