About the Role
We are seeking a driven and experienced Account Manager to join our team in Gauteng. As the primary point of contact for publisher client matters, you will be responsible for servicing client relationships through providing recommendations and solutions. You will collaborate with the Ad Operations and Sales teams to help move client business forward. In this fast-paced environment, you will become an expert on managing client expectations and goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Build rapport and maintain regular, proactive outreach to publisher clients on an ongoing basis.
- Establish client goals and expectations while responding to client inquiries and concerns in a timely fashion.
- Upsell and cross-sell existing and emerging products, solutions, and services that meet the client’s needs and increase revenue.
- Lead client calls and resolve client challenges with exceptional customer service.
- Participate in meetings with the Sales team regularly to review the status, issues, and opportunities for maximization across sites.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to create and execute short-term go-live plans for new clients.
Requirements
- 2 years of consultative, sales, or account management experience in the online advertising or media industry.
- Industry experience required: must have worked for a Publisher, SSP, DSP, Ad Network, or competitor in the ad tech ecosystem.
- Digital advertising experience, preferably in the ad tech space.
- Schedule is Monday-Friday 9:30am-5:30pm EST.
- Previous client-facing experience, strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- An ability to grow client relationships and revenue through upselling products, solutions, and services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience.
