About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrator: Warranties to support our Product Support Department, executing standardised warranty administration and general office administration activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer warranty documentation for new machines
  • Capture, check, and update warranty claims on the system
  • Obtain authorisation for warranty claims
  • Liaise with branches regarding claims, outcomes, and additional requirements
  • Update systems with claim outcomes and distribute warranty information
  • Maintain accurate warranty files and archives
  • Administer factory campaigns, part recalls, and parts returns
  • Escalate complex warranty queries to the manager
  • General Administration:
  • Answer telephone calls and take messages
  • Perform filing, scanning, photocopying, faxing, and data capturing
  • Type correspondence, emails, and letters
  • Coordinate communication between stakeholders
  • Maintain an organised and tidy workplace (5S principles)
  • Assist with section-specific administrative tasks

Requirements

  • Qualification: Grade 12 (Matric)
  • Experience: 6 months to 1 year in administration or filing
  • Experience in: General office administration, document management and filing systems
