About the Role

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a refined & luxury service-driven Head Butler to join an international hospitality group hotel in Cape Town. This role is suited to a polished hospitality professional who thrives on delivering discreet, personalised, and anticipatory service to high-profile and VIP guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, & inspire the butler team to deliver exceptional, personalised guest experiences
  • Set and uphold world-class service standards, ensuring consistency across all guest touchpoints
  • Personally oversee VIP, UHNW, & high-profile guest stays
  • Coordinate closely with Housekeeping, Front Office, Concierge, & F&B team
  • Manage butler schedules, performance, & ongoing training programmes
  • Handle guest feedback, preferences, & special requests with precision & discretion
  • Drive continuous improvement & innovation within the butler service offering

Requirements

This position is not open to expats. Proven experience as a Head Butler, Senior Butler, or similar leadership role within luxury hotels or private UHNW households. Strong leadership & team development capabilities. Deep understanding of formal service, etiquette, and luxury guest expectations.
