About the Role

As a Financial Advisor at Fouche & Co Recruitment, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, providing ongoing financial planning support, and developing new business opportunities. You will offer advice on investment strategies, retirement planning, estate planning, and risk management while ensuring compliance with all financial regulations. We are seeking a confident, client-focused professional with strong technical and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and review client portfolios, providing professional financial advice.
  • Prospect and acquire new clients to grow the portfolio.
  • Deliver financial products and services in a professional and client-focused manner.
  • Collaborate with Financial Service Providers (FSPs) and internal departments to resolve client queries.
  • Maintain regular client communication and build long-term relationships.
  • Develop comprehensive financial plans tailored to client needs.
  • Provide advice on investments, retirement planning, estate planning, and tax optimisation.
  • Assess client risk profiles and recommend appropriate strategies.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling services.
  • Network with professionals, attend industry events, and contribute to marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all industry regulations and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Prepare regular reports for clients and management.

Requirements

  • Matric with tertiary qualification in Finance (NQF5: Wealth Management / BCom) – Non-negotiable
  • RE5 certification – Non-negotiable
  • Relevant Class of Business certifications in place
  • Fit and Proper status required
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Financial Planning role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related software
  • Experience with professionals and high-net-worth clients
  • Driver’s license and own vehicle – Non-negotiable

Qualifications

  • Matric with tertiary qualification in Finance (NQF5: Wealth Management / BCom)
  • RE5 certification
  • Relevant Class of Business certifications
