About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to oversee the sales department of our Hyundai East Rand dealership, leading a team of sales professionals to meet and exceed sales goals. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales plans, monitoring financial performance, and ensuring customer satisfaction is maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Set and achieve sales targets for the dealership
- Develop and execute sales plans to meet monthly sales quotas
- Monitor individual and team performance
- Monitor sales department financial performance weekly
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales professionals
- Conduct regular coaching sessions on company product features and sales technique
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Assist customers with financing and other purchase-related inquiries
Requirements
- 5 years in the automotive industry
- 3 years as a Sales Manager
- Proven record of meeting/exceeding sales targets for used and new vehicles
- Exceptional leadership skills
- Analytical abilities
- Team management experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce or related field (if applicable)
- Relevant certifications or diplomas (if applicable)
