About the Role

AJ Personnel is seeking a Sales Representative to join their team in Gauteng. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and be proficient in MS Office Suite, with excellent communication skills and a willingness to travel into Africa.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media
• Present, promote, and sell products/services to new and existing customers
• Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed monthly/annual quotas
• Build, maintain, and strengthen long-lasting customer relationships
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of products/services to provide technical answers and solutions
• Update customer data, track sales activity, and analyze and research market potential
• Conduct competitor analysis

Requirements

• BCom or Bachelor of Science in Plastics Engineering, Polymer Engineering, or Polymer Science
• At least 2 years proven experience in the field as well as sales to the manufacturing industry
• Proficient on MS Office Suite
• Valid Driver’s License and own reliable vehicle
• Knowledge of import and export advantageous
