Sales & Service Executive – Northern Region An exciting opportunity exists for a suitably qualified and experienced Sales & Service Executive to join our Northern Region operations based in Pomona. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting business growth, managing customer relationships, overseeing trailer service and repair jobs, ensuring excellent service delivery, and driving the effective achievement of operational and sales objectives across Gauteng and the broader Northern Region. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a driven professional to contribute to the growth of the CTS Trailers Pomona depot by expanding CTS product sales, while identifying new business opportunities and strengthening the companys presence in the region. Key tasks and responsibilities Trailer Services & Trailer Repairs – Northern Region Manage all CTS’s customers Trailer service & repair jobs in the Gauteng and other Northern parts of South Africa. Liaison between CTS, CTS’s Customer, and approved work Centres. Implement and assist accreditation of CTS work Centres in Northern Region. Preparation of quotes on CTS templates with mark-up and obtain POs from customer. Manage CTS intercompany jobs (Trailers) for Quest Capital & Cape Finance at agreed cost structures. Prepare Job Packs. Inspect quotes received from Approved sub-contractors with damage, review prices to ensure costs are in-line with work required. Identify area of savings on material and arrange stock items for work required. Inspect completed jobs and compared work executed as per quotation. Obtain Signed Delivery notes (POD’s) from customer and prepare invoice instruction. Liaise with CTS Account department on account status and arrange pmts for COD customers. Stock Control Liaise with CTS and Approved workshops on required stock items to execute service and repair work at most cost-effective manner. Liaise with CTS procurement department to purchase stock for delivery to Pomona Depot. Appoint and manage store personnel to ensure effective stock control of these items. Ensure stock used is accounted for and allocated to required jobs. Ensure stock is accurate and accounted for. Perform stock take & report. Sales and Marketing Promote CTS’s products and services in Gauteng region. Execute Sales orders including: – CTS Trailer Services & Repairs at our Approved work centres. – CTS Spare parts from the Pomona depot. – CTS New & Used trailers. – CTS Truck Bodies in the Gauteng region. – Assist with trailer of JV partners – Quest & Cape Finance when required. Customer visits in the Northern Region. Communication with Work Centres and clients on delivery of sales orders. Minimum requirements Sound knowledge of heavy-duty commercial trailer service and repair. Sound knowledge of trailer parts. Valid drivers licence and willingness to travel within Gauteng and the Northern Region. Proven experience in customer service, quoting, and job coordination. Basic computer literacy, including email, spreadsheets, and preparing quotations/invoices. Ability to inspect repair work and evaluate quotations for accuracy and cost-effectiveness. Strong stock control and reporting skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple jobs simultaneously. Good problem-solving, negotiation, and follow-up skills. Strong ability to collaborate with approved workshops, subcontractors, and internal departments to support efficient operations and service delivery. Good communication and administrative skills. Excellent work ethics. Advantageous: existing industry knowledge. Five to ten years of proven experience within the trailer industry.
