Luxury Private Game Reserve with Head Offices in Cape Town is looking for a Marketing Executive with high end safari or a luxury hospitality background. As the Marketing Executive ; you will be responsible for assisting with developing the strategic direction and annual plans for Marketing operations across the organisation. This role coordinates and directs the service; operations, logistics and activities of marketing to maximise occupancy at the highest achievable rate ; while achieving fair share of the market. This role is responsible for planning and executing marketing campaigns and promotional activities ; ensuring all activations across digital; email, social and other channels present a cohesive; consistent and effective story of the properties. You will be required to work in conjunction with the Branding and Optimisation Manager in developing and maintaining the brand identity across all internal and external channels and touchpoints to ensure brand consistency ; enhance brand awareness ; and foster a strong brand culture. Travel to international and local trade shows ; host in -office trainings and sales calls ; engage in contracting and distribute rates contracts may also be required. Requirements: Grade 12 Extensive Background in Marketing (and Sales) A formal management qualification would be advantageous At least 3 – 5 years of previous experience in Marketing operations of luxury 5* properties or lodges Ability to anticipate future circumstances and requests Ability to think strategically and tactically to position the property and its sales and revenue generation plans optimally Ability to correctly communicate detailed information and instructions to others Operates comfortably in an environment of high levels of ambiguity Ability to recognise market and revenue concerns Ability to think on their feet and to negotiate shrewdly Proficient in the creation and analysis of benchmarking studies and market trends Proficient in creating sales strategies to maximise opportunities and mitigate risk Proficient in developing sales and marketing action plans with local and international travel trade partners Good understanding of financial processes and practices Proficient in negotiating cost of Distribution Proficient in online marketing strategies, including social media, content marketing, search, and measurement analytics; Proficient in coordinating external suppliers, agencies and freelancers to produce high-quality collateral on a timely basis Strong network of professional contacts within the local and international travel industry Proficient in the management of the various advertising channels, including websites Proficient user of Microsoft Office software applications and any other marketing tools as may be required Proficient in preparing month end reporting and ability to meet set deadlines High degree of confidentiality and integrity Excellent communication skills, organisational and time management skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Displays a sense of urgency and dedication to meeting needs and expectations Ability to work independently without receiving detailed instructions Good grooming and dress Ability to establish relationships with people from different backgrounds Committed to creating environments and systems that enable the delivery of exceptional and personalised services Models a life of personal service and support to the company Works to create a work environment that encourages high levels of engagement with the company Persistent in establishing and maintaining effective systems and process activities Effective in creating and fostering an environment of collaboration and commitment
