About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Site Foreman/Manager to join our site and installation teams in the Glass & Aluminium Industry Systems industry, specifically in East Rand and Pretoria (Gauteng). The ideal candidate will have a minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing and installing South African aluminium systems. They should demonstrate active knowledge in the trade and Glass and Aluminium industry in the context of South Africa.
Key Responsibilities
- Hands on with installations
- Read and follow architectural and engineering drawings
- Deliver products of high quality and on time
- Strong sense in terms of cost and time control
- Manage staff and HR matters
- Diligent in taking size and measurements
- Site surveying / measurements
- Detailing with shop the requirements of the site
- Coordinating what is the site requires with the shop/ customer
- Leading the teams during installation
- Time and cost keeping during installation
- Administration duties such as safety file population, site instructions and managing program
- Handling of multiple sites simultaneously in terms of time and quality delivery
- Providing continuous feedback to customers
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing and installing South African aluminium systems
- Active knowledge in the trade and Glass and Aluminium industry in the context of South Africa
- Hands on with installations
- Ability to read and follow architectural and engineering drawings
