About the Role
Career Connect (Pty) Ltd is seeking an experienced Tail lift Technician to join our team in Sandton. We are looking for a skilled professional who can install, maintain, and repair hydraulic, electric, and mechanical tail lift systems while ensuring safe and proper operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair hydraulic, electric, and mechanical tail lift systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose faults across hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical components
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Test tail lift functionality post-repair to ensure safe and proper operation
- Replace damaged or worn parts including seals, pumps, motors, and cylinders
- Respond to breakdowns and provide on-site repairs as needed
- Keep accurate maintenance and repair records
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient repair timelines
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards
Requirements
- 3+ years experience as a Tail lift Technician
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Proven troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Competency with diagnostic tools and repair equipment
- Valid drivers license with a clean record
- Willingness to work overtime and be on standby when required
Qualifications
- Certification in Tail lift systems or related technical fields (desirable)
