About the Role

GAP Consulting is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our team in Gauteng, South Africa. As a seasoned professional with 3-5 years of experience in Grain Handling and Industrial Engineering, you will be responsible for coordinating technical sites and managing projects from start to finish. If you have a strong background in Mechanical Installations, Structural Erection, Electrical Motors, Chain Conveyors, Bucket Elevators, and are passionate about site-based project coordination, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage technical sites and ensure compliance with safety protocols
  • Coordinate and supervise project teams to meet deadlines and deliver results
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Monitor and control project progress, identifying and mitigating risks as needed
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues and achieve project objectives

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience as a Technical Site / Project Coordinator in the Grain Handling / Industrial Engineering industry
  • Strong knowledge of Mechanical Installations, Structural Erection, Electrical Motors, Chain Conveyors, Bucket Elevators
  • Valid Driver’s License and own reliable transport required
  • Medically fit to work at heights (medical to be conducted by the company)
  • Willingness to travel locally and internationally (valid passport advantageous)
