About the Role
NWJ Resourcing is seeking an experienced Expeditor to join our team in Germiston. As a key member of our supply chain management, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely flow of materials, components and information required to meet manufacturing schedules. With over 14 years of experience working in steel processing services, this role offers a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise and skills to drive efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage suppliers and procurement processes to prevent production delays
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and components
- Verify documents and track orders to prevent errors or lost shipments
- Analyze supply issues and implement solutions to get the production line back on track
- Utilize ERP systems and supply chain software to optimize processes
Requirements
- 2-5 years experience in supply chain, logistics, expediting or production support within a steel manufacturing environment
- Experience working with ERP systems and supply chain software
- Proven track record of managing suppliers and preventing production delays
- Excellent communication and negotiating skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking ability
Qualifications
- Grade 12
