About the Role
The Procurement Manager role is based in Germiston and requires an experienced professional with strong analytical and decision-making skills to lead the procurement function.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve business objectives
- Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals
- Oversee procurement processes, including sourcing, purchasing, and inventory management
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Logistics/Supply Chain preferred
- At least 5 years experience in Supply Chain
- 3-4 years management experience
- Supplier management experience
- Strong analytical and numerical aptitude
- Sound decision-making in pressured environments
- Excellent planning, organisation, and prioritisation skills
