About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Outside Manager to join our team in Grahamstown. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing farm operations, including irrigation and machinery maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage farm operations, including irrigation and crop management
- Maintain and repair agricultural machinery and equipment
- Ensure efficient use of resources and minimize waste
- Monitor and report on farm performance and productivity
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Agriculture advantageous
- Minimum 5 years farm management experience essential
- Previous irrigation and pivot experience
- Mechanically orientated
- A minimum of 3 years of applicable experience on the maintenance and repair of agricultural machinery and equipment
- Energetic, hardworking, and self-driven individual
- Ability to speak Xhosa advantageous
Qualifications
- Valid drivers license
