About the Role
The Maintenance Assistant role at Bright Placements (PTY) Ltd involves providing technical support to our clients in the hospitality industry, ensuring their properties are well-maintained and running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, painting, and general upkeep of properties.
- Troubleshoot and repair minor maintenance issues using hand and power tools.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment for clients and staff.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of preventative maintenance schedules.
Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 2–3 years’ maintenance experience in hospitality, lodge, hotel, or property environment
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance
