About the Role
Join our team as a Trails Guide in Hluhluwe, where you will have the opportunity to lead walking safaris in a Big 5 or unfenced reserve environment. As a FGASA Trails Guide, you will be responsible for providing expert knowledge and guidance to our guests, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead walking safaris in a Big 5 or unfenced reserve environment
- Provide expert knowledge and guidance to guests
- Conduct wildlife tracking and identification
- Manage group dynamics and ensure guest safety
Requirements
- FGASA Trails Guide qualification (minimum Level 1; Level 2 or higher preferred)
- Valid driver’s licence and PDP (where applicable)
- Minimum First Aid Level 2 (mandatory)
- Proven experience leading walking safaris in a Big 5 or unfenced reserve environment
- Strong wildlife tracking and identification skills
Qualifications
- Completed FGASA Field Guide qualification (advantageous)
- Matric certificate (if not already mentioned)
