About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to join a prestigious Luxury Private Game Reserve in Hoedspruit. This live-in role supports the Executive Housekeeper in ensuring that all guest areas, lodges, and staff accommodation are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily Operations: Supervise housekeeping staff to ensure rooms, lodges, and public areas are immaculately presented
- Cleaning Schedules: Monitor cleaning schedules and ensure adherence to SOPs
- Support Operations: Support smooth day-to-day housekeeping operations
- Team Supervision: Assist with training, mentoring, and motivating housekeeping staff
- Task Allocation: Allocate tasks and monitor performance
- Guest Experience: Ensure guest rooms are prepared to luxury lodge standards
- Guest Requests: Respond promptly to guest requests and housekeeping-related issues
- Collaboration: Work closely with lodge management to anticipate guest needs
- Inventory & Supplies: Assist with stock control of linen, amenities, and cleaning materials
- Reporting: Report shortages and ensure timely replenishment
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of usage and supplies
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping within a lodge, hotel, or luxury hospitality environment
- Supervisory or team leader experience advantageous
- Strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail
- Professional presentation and guest-focused mindset
- Ability to work in a remote or bush environment
- Valid drivers licence preferred

Salary: R12,000 – R15,000 DOE
