About the Role
Isando: Procurement and Inventory Supervisor – A well-established organisation in Isando is seeking an experienced Procurement and Inventory Supervisor to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
- Administration Duties:
- Sign off all stock journals
- Submit NRCS levy documentation
- Verify DC warehousing invoices
- Generate sales and stock reports as requested
- Order labels for the group
- Investigate and report on damaged stock at the DC
- Procurement Duties Local Stock (All Branches):
- Review stock on hand (SOH) and average sales across all branches before placing orders
- Approve and sign off all stock purchase orders
- Verify POP/PO documentation for once-off customer orders
- Place online orders
- Arrange buyouts where required
- Procurement Duties Foreign Stock:
- Review supporting documentation before approving for processing
- Provide assistance where needed
- Branch Procurement Duties:
- Approve daily IBT requests for all branches
- Approve customer orders in consultation with the manager
- Stock Take Duties:
- Generate stock take reports for all branches
- Calculate and analyze variances per branch
- General Duties:
- Assist customers with alternative order options
- Maintain filing systems
- Reserve stock items upon request
- Assist with IBTs and creditors in the absence of the Stock and Admin Clerk
Requirements
- Matric
- Relevant tertiary qualification (an advantage)
- Minimum 10 years experience in a procurement and inventory environment
- Product and application knowledge, including ability to read catalogues
- Strong Computer literate: MS Office (Excel is a must)
- Well-spoken and presented (fluent in English)
- Good communicator
- Strong admin skills
- Drivers license and own vehicle
- Basic mathematical knowledge
