Job Title: Business Development Officer<br>Location: Cape Town<br><br>Job Summary:<br>A well-established, asset-based finance provider in the transport, mining, and construction industry is seeking a highly motivated and presentable Business Development Officer to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new business through developing relationships with clients, retaining existing ones, and promoting our financial products and services<br><br>Key Responsibilities:<br>&bull; Develop and execute a business development plan to achieve sales targets and revenue goals<br>&bull; Identify potential clients and establish relationships with them to understand their financial needs<br>&bull; Promote financial products and services to potential clients and provide tailored solutions<br>&bull; Conduct market research to identify opportunities for growth and development<br>&bull; Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system<br>&bull; Provide exceptional customer service to maintain relationships with existing clients<br>&bull; Collaborate with other departments to ensure clients receive a seamless experience<br><br>Requirements:<br>&bull; Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, or related field<br>&bull; Experience in the commercial finance industry is beneficial<br>&bull; Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets<br>&bull; Strong interpersonal and communication skills with client relationship ability<br>&bull; Excellent organizational and time management skills<br>&bull; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills<br>&bull; Ability to work independently and as part of a team<br>&bull; Strong Microsoft Excel skills<br><br>To apply send your CV, Qualifications and latest pay slip to *****@*****.co.za

Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 (Matric). 45 years sales experience within the integrated electronic security industry. Computer literacy. Knowledge of consulting engineers will be advantageous. PSIRA registration (required). Key Responsibilities: Achieve or exceed allocated sales budgets (turnover and gross profit). Conduct a minimum of 10 sales calls per week. Maintain a strong appointment ratio (minimum 5/10 conversion). Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow market presence. Promote and sell integrated project solutions to clients. Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure high customer satisfaction. Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and working standards. Minimum Requirements: Matric SAMTRAC 3 Years health and safety consulting experience Reliable Car and valid drivers license. Willing to travel Proficient in at least 2 national languages of which one must be English Computer literate Minimum 3 to 5 years sales experience & 2 years health and safety industry experience. Key Responsibilities: Sourcing of new business Travel and identify areas with potential business opportunities (canvass) Conduct research on potential clients Set up meeting to introduce MSHEQ to potential clients Be sufficiently prepared for meetings with MSHEQ marketing material Ensure all quoted clients have been invoiced accordingly. Ensuring timely submission & accuracy of commission sheets. Client relationship building client in-person visit from the Head of Sales Updating the sales modules on CRM Execute key customer entertainment in line with budget Identify any advertising, marketing and entertainment opportunities in line with budget. Ensure client payments are received in time and attend weekly age meetings Sales Administration All emails and quotes to be responded to within 24 hours All consulting/retainer quotes to be accompanied by a proposal & approved by HOS All quotes to be followed up weekly Quotes file to be updated daily and submitted weekly All quotes to be accompanied by terms and conditions All consulting invoices to be accompanied by a legally approved SLA All marketing material to be emailed with initial point of contact 4 x client reviews to be obtained monthly Petrol Recons to be submitted within 7 working days from receival of statement from the Finance department Sales / Operations Hand over Work closely with other departments when selling training or consulting All consulting work to be added to consulting board as soon as invoice is issued Head of consulting / Head of training to be introduced to clients for further communication Training to be captured on training calendar and booking form uploaded in a timely manner Hand-over meeting to be set up with Head of Consulting for all new retainer clients External Sales Hunt for new business and Weekly KPI targets are met
