They are looking for a passionate, tech-savvy Long-Term Insurance Distribution Consultant to help grow their adviser network and drive product sales across South Africa. About the role Theyre searching for a motivated and relationship-driven Long-Term Insurance Distribution Consultant who thrives on building partnerships, driving sales growth, and supporting brokers to succeed. In this role, youll focus on growing the adviser network, onboarding new Financial Advisers, providing product training and support, and strengthening strategic partnerships to drive business expansion. What you'll be doing Your primary focus will be to grow the brand and drive product sales. Your duties will include: Growing and maintaining strong adviser relationships to drive business expansion Leveraging partnerships and managing stakeholders to achieve key objectives Supporting intermediaries with sales tools such as quotes and benefit statements Identifying and onboarding new Financial Advisers to expand the network Providing training and product support to help advisers succeed Generating and converting your own leads and building a strong pipeline Delivering clear and confident product presentations Staying updated on industry trends to maintain a competitive edge Experience and Qualifications FSCA-recognized qualification and/or undergraduate degree in Financial Planning or related field RE5 and/or RE1 qualification 3 years experience in long-term insurance as a Broker Consultant or IFA Proven sales and relationship management track record Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is advantageous Sales and Tech Skills Computer literate with CRM systems and MS Office proficiency Strong communication and writing skills Confident presenter with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills Skilled in lead generation and onboarding new brokerages Ability to independently attract, onboard, and support brokers Strong relationship management and sales performance focus Work Style Analytical thinker with strong organisational and time management skills Proactive, adaptable, and deadline-driven mindset Quick learner with a strong sense of urgency Self-motivated team player with integrity and professionalism Customer-focused approach with the ability to work independently Willingness to travel regularly Key Competencies and Additional Requirements Valid drivers license and own reliable transportation Ability to build and maintain strategic business relationships Strong stakeholder engagement and networking ability Professional, resilient, and adaptable under pressure Must Have FSCA-recognized qualification or degree RE5 and/or RE1 qualification Long-term insurance industry experience Proven sales and relationship management experience CRM and MS Office proficiency Based in Gauteng or Cape Town Own reliable transport and willingness to travel Nice to Have Analytical and tech-savvy mindset Experience onboarding and training brokers Confidence in independent lead generation and pipeline building Fluency in multiple languages Responsibilities Build, grow, and manage broker relationships Promote and grow the product offering Generate and convert new business opportunities Drive sales performance and broker engagement Provide brokers with training, support, and sales tools Deliver clear and confident presentations and communication What we offer Each employee has a chance to see the impact of their work and make a real contribution to the success of the company.
