Airbrake Technician Location: Centurion Salary: R25 000 to R35 000 per month Job Type: Permanent, On-site Role Overview A busy commercial workshop in Centurion is looking for a skilled Airbrake Technician with solid experience on trucks and trailers. If youre confident working on braking systems, enjoy fault-finding, and want a stable, hands-on role this is a strong opportunity. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and troubleshoot airbrake system faults Replace air valves, pipes, hoses, and related components Repair and service compressors Conduct full airbrake valve repairs and brake performance tests Perform preventative maintenance on trucks and trailers Assist with brake, electrical, and mechanical repairs as required Ensure all work is completed according to safety and quality standards Minimum Requirements 5 years experience as an Airbrake Technician, Diesel Mechanic, Trailer Mechanic, or Brake & Electrical Fitter Strong hands-on experience with airbrake systems on heavy vehicles Trade Test (Red Seal/Section 13) or N3 Mechanical Engineering (advantageous) Ability to work independently and within a workshop team Reliable, safety-conscious, and quality-driven Why This Role?
