A dynamic trade finance company specializing in tailored commercial lending solutions for small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 35 years of experience in business development, sales, or relationship management in trade finance with a focus on SME lending.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of commercial lending products and the SME funding landscape (advantageous)
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Business, or related field (preferred).
Role Overview
The successful candidate will be
- identifying, engaging, and securing new SME clients for our commercial lending products.
- developing new business opportunities,
- building strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry influencers.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and acquire new SME clients through strategic outreach and
- Develop and manage a robust pipeline of qualified leads across various
- Promote commercial lending solutions, including working capital loans, asset finance, invoice finance, and revolving credit facilities.
- Conduct needs analysis and tailor funding solutions to meet client
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners, financial advisors, brokers, and referral partners.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly acquisition and revenue targets.
- Provide market feedback to influence product development and marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with internal credit and underwriting teams to ensure smooth deal execution
