About the Role
The Commercial Vehicles Finance & Insurance Manager will play a key role in structuring and arranging finance and insurance packages for commercial vehicle customers, ensuring compliance with various regulations and maintaining strong relationships with finance houses and insurance providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Structure and arrange finance and insurance packages for commercial vehicle customers
- Liaise with major banks and finance houses to secure competitive approvals
- Present and sell value-added products such as insurance, service plans, maintenance plans, and warranties
- Ensure full compliance with FAIS, FICA, POPIA, and NCA regulations
- Maintain accurate deal files and ensure all documentation is completed correctly
- Submit finance applications and follow up on approvals
- Provide clear financial explanations to customers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with finance houses and insurance providers
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure smooth deal closures
- Achieve monthly finance and insurance targets
Requirements
- Proven experience as an F&I Manager within the commercial vehicle industry
- Fully FAIS compliant
- RE5 qualification (essential)
- NCA Accreditation
- Relevant F&I qualifications/certifications
- Strong understanding of commercial vehicle finance structures
- Experience working with major finance institutions
- Strong administrative and compliance skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to work in a target-driven dealership environment
