About the Role
The Exports Co-Ordinator will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of sales orders, commercial invoices, and customs documentation. This role requires a strong understanding of EDI entries, SADC and Non-SADC procedures, and warehouse operational experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales order maintenance
- Helping with commercial invoices
- Liaising with EDI Administrator for preparation of customs documentation
- Ad-hoc tasks
- Warehouse operational experience with understanding of inbound and outbound logistics
- Knowledge of EDI entries as well as SADC and Non-SADC procedures involving cross border documentation
- Maintaining orders and order reports for the Africa division
- Creation of pick waves and tasking the WHS with orders
- Liaison with Africa depots and resolution of queries and requests.
- Communicating with EDI clerks and WHS operation to resolve tasks and order completion
- Monitoring back-order reports and providing feedback on order status
- Assisting with EDIs and commercial invoice creation
Requirements
- Previous experience in the exporting environment
- Good communication skills on telecommunication and Outlook express
- Previous experience of at least 5 years in warehousing and transportation
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong administration skills
- Ability to manage pick waves and back order as per schedule
- Skills in excel and outlook express (advantage)
- Experience on Syspro and Cargo[1]wise an advantage
- Background in finance and administration an advantage
