About the Role
Join our team as a Finance Manager in Johannesburg, where you will lead and oversee all financial aspects of our organisation’s operations. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to management and stakeholders
- Support statutory reporting, year-end processes, and external audit requirements
- Oversee debtors, creditors, general ledger, payroll, and bank reconciliations
- Ensure timely submission of statutory returns (VAT, PAYE, Income Tax)
- Monitor and analyse financial performance against budgets and forecasts
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, cash flow, and project budgets
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (Honours or CA(SA) preferred)
- Minimum 5 years experience in financial management, ideally within hospitality, conservation, or luxury tourism
- Strong knowledge of hospitality accounting systems (e.g. Opera, Sun Systems, Micros, Book4Time or similar)
- Solid understanding of South African financial regulations and tax laws
- Proficiency in financial systems and accounting software (ERP, Excel, BI tools, Pastel, Xero, Sage Evolution)
