Please note this position is based in the Middle East- Kuwait. The Client will cover visa and Relocation Costs.
The Head of IT will lead the strategic, operational, and transformational agenda of the Automotive Groups IT function, driving digital transformation, business alignment, and technology innovation across all brands and regions. The role will oversee high-impact IT programs, including Keyloop Autoline DMS deployments, digital peripherals, automation projects, and customer-centric technology platforms.
This position demands visionary leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on program execution to achieve business growth, operational excellence, and seamless integration of technology into core business processes.
Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic Leadership & Governance

Develop, refine, and execute a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with the Groups long-term business vision and competitive positioning.

Establish an IT governance framework to ensure projects and system changes align with business goals and compliance requirements.

Oversee annual and multi-year IT planning cycles to align IT capabilities with business expansion.

Drive IT budget planning and resource optimization for maximum ROI.

Ensure cybersecurity, data privacy, and disaster recovery protocols are in place and regularly tested.

Maintain compliance with Group Policies, ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems, and applicable regulations.

Monitor industry trends and recommend emerging technologies to maintain digital leadership.
2. Digital Transformation & Systems Implementation

Lead end-to-end delivery of Keyloop Autoline DMS implementations, upgrades, and optimizations across Sales, Aftersales, and CRM.

Champion deployment of digital solutions, including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Voice Advanced technologies, secure Digital Document Management, and external platform integrations.

Oversee the design and rollout of customer-facing solutions (apps, portals, eCommerce platforms) to enhance engagement and service quality.

Collaborate with global technology partners to ensure best practices, innovation, and scalability.

Standardize IT architectures across the Group to ensure cost efficiency and operational consistency.

Identify AI/VR opportunities to enhance customer engagement and create immersive digital experiences.
3. Automation & Operational Excellence

Drive Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and intelligent automation to streamline operations and reduce manual effort.

Oversee enterprise data, analytics programs, and predictive reporting to enable data-driven decisions.

Simplify and standardize business processes through technology enablement.

Establish IT operational KPIs covering system performance, service quality, incident resolution, and user satisfaction.

Promote a culture of continuous improvement and regular IT process optimization.
4. Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration

Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, brand heads, and department managers.

Ensure IT solutions align with operational and commercial priorities through active cross-departmental collaboration.

Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing IT team, fostering accountability, innovation, and excellence.

Recruit, develop, and retain IT talent in areas such as DMS, cybersecurity, and enterprise architecture.

Facilitate communication between IT, operations, sales, aftersales, and customer service teams.
Authorities

Approve IT budgets, vendor selections, and technology investments within authority limits.

Authorize deployments, integrations, and system upgrades.

Approve recruitment, development, and performance management of IT personnel.
