Johannesburg: Intermediate Project Manager

Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end project delivery for financial systems and access management initiatives Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources across multiple workstreams Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application teams to implement approved solutions Facilitate stakeholder engagement, including business units, IT, compliance, and vendors Ensure alignment with regulatory and security standards Develop and maintain project documentation: charters, plans, RAID logs, and status reports Conduct risk assessments and mitigation planning for vulnerabilities Drive change management and user adoption strategies for new access protocols Monitor KPIs and report progress to senior leadership and governance forums Required Skills and Experience: 35 years of project management experience, preferably in financial services or fintech Strong understanding of Logical Access Management principles and SSO technologies (Okta, Azure AD, Ping Identity) Familiarity with IAM frameworks and tools (e.g., SailPoint, CyberArk, ForgeRock) Experience managing cross-functional teams and third-party vendors Solid grasp of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid) Proficiency in project tools (MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet) Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills Ability to translate technical requirements into business outcomes Qualifications: Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM, or Agile PM) preferred Security or IAM-related certifications (CISM, CISSP, or similar) are a plus
