About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Key Accounts Manager to join our client in Johannesburg, a leading company within the trucking and commercial industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving OEM growth by developing and managing national fleet key accounts, leading executive-level engagement and negotiations, and building account growth and TCO strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive OEM growth by developing and managing national fleet key accounts
- Lead executive-level engagement and negotiations
- Build account growth and TCO strategies
- Collaborate closely with dealers and RSMs to grow incremental sales while protecting dealer margin
- Govern customer segmentation and target allocation
- Track performance and market insights
- Deliver consistent, professional national fleet relationships
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Sales, Business, or equivalent
- Minimum 7 years of B2B sales or key account management experience in commercial vehicles, logistics, or a related sector
- Proven ability to build and maintain C-suite customer relationships and negotiate large, complex deals
- Strong understanding of dealer-based distribution networks and South African commercial vehicle market dynamics
