Job Description

This is a 6 – month contrac t with our client in the Banking sector. Rate: R50 000, per month We are seeking a Learning Architecture & Experience Designer to shape our enterprise learning ecosystem. Operating as an internal strategic consultant within an Agile delivery team, you will translate business strategy into multi-dimensional learning portfolios. This role merges human-centred design (UI/UX) with data analytics, technical digital production, and behavioural science to deliver commercial business impact. Duties include: · Strategic Learning Architecture: Partner with business leaders and SMEs to consult on learning needs and architect end-to-end portfolios (blended, digital, social, and augmented learning). · Experience Design & Production: Lead the end-to-end design, UI/UX, curation, and technical production of highly engaging learning journeys on digital platforms. · Agile Project Management: Plan and independently execute large-scale, complex learning initiatives on time and on budget, participating in Agile practices (PI planning, retrospectives). · Data & Impact Analytics: Partner with data teams to mine ERP/Data Warehouse systems (e.g., SAP, SAP4HANA) to track, measure, and report on commercial learning impact and ROI. · Vendor & Budget Control: Manage external design vendors, software licensing, and procurement initiatives for specialized learning tools. · Governance & Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous QA frameworks and document management systems to align with group risk, compliance, and regulatory requirements. · Capability Building: Coach and mentor internal HR product owners, facilitators, and the broader learning community on digital learning trends and instructional design best practices. Requirements include: · Experience: 810 years designing large-scale corporate or financial services learning architectures, digital platforms, and blended ecosystems. · Education: Relevant B-Degree (or equivalent) focusing on learning architecture, instructional design, or digital learning media. · Deep Instructional Design & UI/UX: Expert-level mastery of adult learning theory, behavioural psychology, user experience design, and digital curation. · Technical Fluency: Practical knowledge of digital design tools, specialized web/LXD scripting languages, and modern SaaS learning systems. · Data & Tech Aptitude: Proven capability extracting and utilizing data from enterprise systems (SAP preferred) and an interest in applying AI/Machine Learning to learning solutions. · Commercial Problem Solving: Proven ability to exercise independent judgment and solve complex problems within an ambiguous, fast-paced corporate context.
