Job Description

You will be responsible for managing day-to-day control room operations , monitoring high-value cargo movements, and ensuring that all operational risks are identified, managed, and escalated appropriately. This is a high-responsibility role requiring strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage control room operations (day/night shift) Monitor line haul movements and courier routes to ensure operational efficiency Track vehicles and cargo using GPS, camera systems, and tracking platforms Manage access control and security protocols Coordinate with third-party security providers (e.g., armed escorts) Conduct incident investigations and escalate risks appropriately Ensure compliance with security and operational standards Maintain accurate reporting and communicate with management Drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency and service levels Minimum Requirements Matric (Grade 12) Minimum 5 years experience in the security industry Minimum 5 years experience within a control room environment Strong exposure to courier, logistics, or transport operations (essential) Experience monitoring high-value cargo or fleet operations Ability to work night shifts and under pressure Technical & Functional Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Experience with tracking systems, GPS monitoring, and CCTV systems Understanding of radio systems, telecommunication tools, and operational workflows Strong knowledge of route monitoring and incident management What Were Looking For A strong, assertive leader with operational control room experience High level of attention to detail and accuracy Ability to make decisions quickly under pressure Strong communication and coordination skills A professional with a proactive and disciplined approach to risk management Why This Role?
