About the Role

Isilumko Staffing is seeking a motivated and results-driven individual to join their Collections Department on a 6-month contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging with clients, negotiating payment arrangements, and ensuring adherence to internal processes and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Engage with clients regarding outstanding accounts
Negotiate and implement suitable payment arrangements
Monitor account activity and follow up on overdue balances
Maintain accurate records of interactions and agreements
Ensure adherence to internal processes and regulatory standards
Do affordability and risk assessments for credit card applications

Requirements

BCom in Accounting, Finance or Economics

AND/OR 13 years experience in credit in a banking/financial services environment

Strong communication and negotiation skills

Good numerical and analytical ability

Ability to manage challenging conversations professionally

Clear criminal and credit record
