About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in the construction of cross-country pipelines. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) within the oil & gas or hydrocarbon sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage projects from concept through to completion, ensuring successful delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Oversee full project lifecycle including conceptual design, detailed engineering, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and handover.
  • Manage installation of pipelines, piping systems, process equipment, structural steel, and associated civil, electrical & instrumentation (E&I), and communication systems.
  • Provide strong technical leadership to effectively direct project teams and subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance with international standards, codes, and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Monitor and control project performance in terms of cost, quality, schedule, and HSE (Health, Safety & Environment).
  • Identify and manage risks, change orders, and contractual claims.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and senior stakeholders.
  • Lead project meetings and ensure effective communication with all parties.
  • Ensure contractual obligations and terms are properly executed.

Management & Coordination

  • Oversee and coordinate:
  • Project planning, scheduling, and resource management
  • Engineering and procurement activities
  • Construction and subcontractor performance
  • QHSE compliance and reporting
  • Supervise project administration processes, reporting structures, and performance evaluation.
  • Track project progress, prepare detailed reports, and highlight risks or delays.
  • Ensure efficient allocation and optimization of project resources.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering and Procurement teams to ensure alignment.

Additional Duties

  • Anticipate client needs and deliver effective, value-driven solutions.
  • Conduct regular project reviews and recommend improvements.
  • Monitor daily progress and plan ahead (weekly/monthly) to mitigate potential issues.
  • Ensure proper selection and tracking of tools, materials, and equipment.
  • Maintain awareness of interdependencies with other projects and stakeholders.

Requirements

Proven experience managing cross-country pipeline construction projects.

Strong background in EPC project delivery within oil & gas or related industries.

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

In-depth knowledge of international engineering codes and standards.

Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
