About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Conveyancing Secretary to join our team at Six Sense Consulting in Johannesburg. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for managing conveyancing files, liaising with banks and clients, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Run files from inception to closure
- Deal with commercial mortgage bond instructions and standard security documentation utilised by South African banks
- Liaise and interact with banks, consultants, and transacting parties to deliver result-driven perfect service
- Handle mortgage bond cancellation instructions, prepare consents to cancel, and check guarantees
- Open and close files on our file management system
- Ensure compliance with FICA regulations
- Manage diaries and coordinate meetings effectively
Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate
- Recognised secretarial certificate / diploma
- Minimum of 8-10 years suitable experience
- Experience in Investec bonds
