Senior Manager Consumer Partnerships, Affinities and New Business Development Category: Insurance Location: Sandton Salary: Market-related Our client is the holding company of some of South Africa”s leading financial service providers. Their extensive portfolio includes short-term insurers, health insurance, and an innovative insurance and personal finance comparison platform. They are industry pioneers driven by a hunger for the best, delivering customer-focused innovation and service excellence. Key Responsibilities: Implement a comprehensive partnership model and strategy, focusing on customer growth to enable the company to grow its market share. Develop distribution channels to reach potential customers in spaces where traditional channels cannot. Ensure products and services are marketed under the partner brand to leverage brand affinity and facilitate existing growth. Explore opportunities where the insurance Customer Value Proposition can create a competitive advantage and revenue for the partner. Build scale with partners, specifically focusing on those that deliver scale. Manage partner onboarding and integration capability. Support the overall Non-Life partnership strategy by delivering operational plans for a large portion of the business. Work in collaboration with products, risk management, finance, IT, and other departments to ensure the partnership Customer Value Proposition is mutually beneficial. Identify and manage internal and external stakeholders up to top management level by leading stakeholder engagement plans Requirements: Education: Grade 12 / SAQA Accredited Equivalent (Essential). Business Degree (Essential). Post Graduate qualification in Business (Essential). Experience: 6 or more years of proven experience in establishing and fostering partnerships (Essential). 5 or more years of managerial experience planning and managing resources to deliver predetermined objectives (Essential). 3 years of Senior Management Experience (Essential). 3 or more years of experience working in a financial services environment (Essential).
