QUALIFICATIONS:
At least 3 years extensive experience in Payroll Administration
Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and other applications such as Sage software Sage 300 People system
Advance Excel Vlookup and Pivot tables
Payroll Management: Salaries and Benefits
People Payroll Reconciliation
In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation
Valid Drivers License & Own Transportation
Responsible for the preparation and processing of the monthly payroll
Review and ensure accuracy of approved advances, travel, and overtime claims
Communicate payroll stats to Payroll Manager as well as any concerns and recommendations
Processing of timesheets & hours (T&A)
Ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time
Monthly payroll audits
Ensuring compliance with SARS PAYE, UIF, ETI, Provident Fund & SDL
Compile and maintain all payroll policies and procedures
Coordinating efforts between the payroll department and other departments such as the human resources and finance department in order to ensure
accurate data
Ensuring maximum compliance with legislation, acts and regulations
Ensuring prompt update of all software for accurate payroll processing and administration
Ensuring the updating of the organizations payroll procedures
Updating reports, salary sheets and schedules
Completing any additional tasks as assigned by direct line manager
