About the Role

WatersEdge Solutions is partnering with a client to recruit a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to manage the full bookkeeping function across multiple entities. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys structure, accuracy, and independent ownership of the finance process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform the full bookkeeping function up to trial balance
  • Capture and process financial transactions accurately
  • Reconcile bank accounts, creditors, and debtors
  • Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial data
  • Process invoices, payments, and receipts
  • Assist with month-end procedures and reporting
  • Maintain organised filing systems and financial records
  • Liaise with management and external accountants where required
  • Support payroll processing for one entity
  • Implement improved systems and documentation retention processes

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping up to trial balance
  • Experience with Sage Accounting and Sage Payroll
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently
  • Relevant bookkeeping or accounting qualification
  • Strong communication skills
  • Bilingual ability
  • Valid drivers licence and own vehicle
