About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Head Chef to join our luxury lodge in Madikwe, North West, as part of our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be a passionate culinary professional with strong leadership ability and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest dining experiences in a remote safari lodge environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create innovative, modern menus to a high standard
- Manage, train, and motivate a kitchen brigade
- Ensure excellent planning, organisational, and administrative skills
- Maintain sound understanding of health, safety, and hygiene practices
- Work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Head Chef or similar role (essential)
- Luxury lodge experience preferred
- Professional cookery diploma or equivalent advantageous

Salary & Benefits
- Package Salary: R25 000 – R27 000 , depending on experience
